Greenwood District 50 - Field Study Procedures

The purpose of a field study is to apply knowledge learned in a unit of study or to conduct research for an upcoming unit. While field study activities occur outside of the classroom, they have a direct correlation to classroom instruction, either as a culminating event or a catalyst for research and/or projects.

Field Study Procedures

Please complete the field study request form in its entirety, for all trips. All requests must be signed by the building principal and then shared with Director of Student Services for approval.

If using a charter bus service, please confirm the company complies with the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, including Driver Qualifications. Click here for Motor Coach Associates.
