Parent Communication Guide

Greenwood School District 50 believes in open, respectful, and solution-focused communication between schools and families. We understand that different situations and/or scenarios may occur where parents and community members have questions or concerns that need to be addressed. Our goal is to address these concerns with open and honest communication. Please note that the first line of communication always begins with speaking with your child.

To help ensure your concerns or questions are addressed promptly and effectively, we encourage parents and guardians to review our communication guide, which illustrates a variety of chains for communication. This guide will provide clarification on who should be contacted next, when, and if further communication is needed. Remember that if the concern involves the behavior of a staff member or an individual's safety, this communication can be directed to the employee's immediate supervisor.
