In September we recognize School Attendance Awareness Month in order to highlight the importance of student attendance in achieving academic excellence. This September, Greenwood District 50 would like to call attention to the importance of staff attendance as a component of student success.
The district will implement a bonus of $250 for perfect attendance each of the remaining nine weeks during the 2023-2024 school year. All full time employees, with the exception of administrators, will be eligible for this attendance bonus. Absences for comp/flex time or professional leave will not count against an employee’s attendance record. Employees must be employed by the district for the entire nine weeks in order to be eligible for the attendance bonus.
The 2nd nine weeks attendance bonus that starts this Friday, September 29, 2023, will be paid in January 2024.
