Admission into a Greenwood School District 50 Magnet Program is based on successful completion of the application process, which includes meeting the qualifying criteria for the specific program, for example, grades, testing data, audition, interview etc.

Please be advised that our middle and high school Magnet Programs have a limited enrollment capacity. If the number of qualifying applicants exceeds available space, a waiting list will be developed. Vacancies occurring after the selection process, through the first five days of school, will be filled from the waiting list.

In order to process all Magnet applications fairly, applicants who have been enrolled in private, virtual, home-schools and out-of-district schools, (public and charter) must submit records consistent with the records used for applicants enrolled in Greenwood School District 50. Those records include most current testing data, attendance records, discipline reports, and the most current and/or previous year’s final report card.

Parents or guardians are responsible for submitting all required records by the deadline. Applications with missing records will not be reviewed.
