Three New Middle School Assistant Principals Named in District 50

Angela Bridges will be the Assistant Principal at Brewer Middle School next year. Bridges has worked in Greenwood School District 50 as a teacher at Northside Middle School and Brewer Middle School for the last seven years. Bridges has also coached in District 50. Bridges obtained her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education from Lander University and received her master’s degree in executive leadership from Western Governors University.

  

Matt Baker has been named as the new Assistant Principal at Northside Middle School. Baker is currently a 6th grade Social Studies and Math teacher for the Medical Magnet program at Northside. During his 15 years in education, Baker has served as a classroom teacher, ESOL teacher, career development facilitator, and athletic coach in District 50. Baker graduated from Erskine College in 2006 and went on to earn a master’s degree in educational administration from Grand Canyon University.


Leslie Fisher will be the Assistant Principal at Westview Middle School. Fisher has worked as a math and science teacher for the AVID program at Northside Middle School for four years. Fisher has over 21 years of experience in public education serving as a middle school math, science, and social studies teacher in District 50. Fisher received her bachelor’s degree and her Master of Education in Elementary Education from Lander University. She obtained an Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Clemson University in 2013.
