Greenwood School District 50 announced today that Friday, April 9th, will be an eLearning day for the district. This day will be utilized to allow district employees to receive their second COVID-19 vaccination.
Superintendent Steve Glenn stated, “This eLearning day will allow our employees to receive their second COVID-19 vaccination and return to school healthy on Monday, April 12th. We are grateful that Self Regional has assisted us with organizing this vaccination clinic for our employees. Self Regional’s staff is also assisting with administering the vaccine which is an added bonus.”
A commitment form was sent out to District 50 employees earlier this week to preregister for the first vaccination clinic scheduled for Friday, March 12th from 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Vaccinations will be administered at the Self Regional Support Building (104 Wells Avenue) which is adjacent to the McDonald’s on South Main Street in Greenwood. The Pfizer vaccine will be administered.
A Google Form was sent to district employees who pre-registered for the COVID-19 vaccination to schedule their appointment times. Employees will need to bring their drivers license and regular insurance card to their appointment.
Friday, March 12th is also an eLearning day in the district. Monday, April 5th will remain an eLearning day on the district’s school calendar.
