The G. Frank Russell Technology Center will have a new face as director next year.

During his tenure as Principal at Abbeville High School, Dr. Costner led the school to multiple Palmetto Gold and Silver awards for high academic performance and closing the achievement gap.
“I am excited about this new career opportunity in District 50,” Dr. Costner stated. “RTC offers a great opportunity for students to enhance their talents and skills through a diverse range of career clusters. I look forward to building positive relationships with the faculty, staff, students, and parents as we continue to produce college and career ready graduates.”
Dr. Costner received his Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in Science, his Masters of Education degree in Administration and Supervision from Clemson, and his Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Clemson.
