     Service Points

Click here for an explanation of service point requirements

Members can earn service points in a variety of ways.

    • Attending monthly meeting: 1 point. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month, unless that day is a student holiday. There are two meetings: one at 8 am in room H109 and one at 3:35 pm in the cafeteria. (Members only need to attend one of these meetings...members must be present for the entire meeting to receive credit!)
    • Participating in club service projects. We usually have 3 projects per school year.
    • Club activities. Members can also earn points by helping to sell pizza during lunch when it is our turn each semester, and by helping with the induction ceremony in the spring.
    • Volunteer work. Finally members can earn service points for individual service to our community; this service must be documented for the member to earn points. Students may earn 1 point per hour of service completed during the school year.  A student may be awarded up to 10 points for participating in a summer mission trip.

If you have any questions or concerns relating to the Beta Club, please email Mrs. Cobb at cobbsw@gwd50.org or Mrs. Evans at evansfa@gwd50.org.
