• Welcome to
    Mrs. McDaniel's Class
My name is Angie McDaniel and I was born and raised in Dillon, South Carolina.  Upon graduating high school, I came to Greenwood because I had a full-tuition scholarship to Lander University.  I eventually transferred to Francis Marion University where I completed my degree in Secondary Mathematics with a minor in Biology. That fall I began my first teaching job in Laurens, SC, where I taught seventh grade math and science.  I remained there for 5 years.  In 2001, I came to Greenwood High School, and I was a teacher in the ninth grade academy for 8 years. Nine years ago I completed my master's degree in middle school mathematics.  Eight years ago  I became a National Board certified teacher.  I will be starting on my Ed.S degree this fall through Clemson University; however, I will always be a University of Tennessee fan!!! This is my 8th year with the ACTS program.  I am married to Jeff McDaniel and we have have two sons, Trey, who is in the 11th grade at GHS and Ryan, who is a sophomore at Columbia International University. We live on Lake Greenwood with our two dogs, Daisy and Rocky.
