I grew up and graduated from high school in Union, SC. A football scholarship took me to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Heels!!!) where I received a BA degree in Communications. After college I lived and worked in Europe for several years. When I returned to South Carolina, I decided to attend Lander University and obtain teacher certification. I took a coaching position at Greenwood High School while attending Lander. After earning a BA in History with teacher certification from Lander in 2003, I began teaching at GHS.I am married to Leigh Addis that teaches math at GHS. We have two children, a daughter who is a junior this year at GHS and a son in 7th grade at Northside.
