Daily Clip ChartIn our classroom,we use the clip chart. Each child has a clip on the chart. Every student starts their day on ready to learn or green. The student has the chance to move their clip up or down throughout the day depending upon the choices that they make. If a clip is moved up, it can be moved down if behavior worsens, and if the clip is moved down, it can be moved up as the behavior improves. You will find a monthly clip chart calender in your child's S.O.A.R. notebook. Please look at this daily, then sign and return it to school. If a student has to move their clip below green, I will use the behavior codes on the calendar so you know the reason they had to clip down. If there is a major event, I will write a note asking you to see the agenda.
