  • Seniors, Please share your good news with us! Bring in acceptance letters from colleges or the military as you receive them! We want to celebrate your successes!

  • EHS will host a Blood Drive on Tuesday, October 28th from 8:30-4:00. All donors must weight at least 110 lbs., be at least 16 years of age (16 year olds must have a consent form from a parent), donors must eat a solid meal and drink plenty of water. There will be a FREE t-shirt for all donors!

  • Conference Nights will be October 23rd until 8:00 PM and October 28th until 7:30 PM. Parents may email teachers or call the school for an appointment to discuss your child's progress. A letter will be sent home reminding you of the conference nights.

  • The Miss Emerald Pageant will be held on Monday, November 3rd at 7:00 PM. If you are interested in participating in the pageant, please check in the front office for more information.

  • This year, EHS is going to make a difference in stopping cancer .25 at a time! Each Friday, we are asking everyone to bring in a quarter to support this cause. We have reached 102% of our goal and will take up money one more week for Relay for Life. Congratulations Vikings for pulling together and making a difference!

  • Mid-Year Graduation will take place January 15, 2015 at 5:00 PM, Greenwood High School. Practice will be at 1:00 PM that day. June graduation will be on June 5, 2015 at 9:00 AM at Lander University, Finis Horne Arena.

  • A Hunter’s Education Class is open to all Emerald High School students and is a free class!  Any person born after the date of June 30th, 1979 is required by law to attend a Hunters Education Course before obtaining a hunting license. This course is also mandatory after a person is the age of 16 to obtain a hunting license. The first 30 students to sign up will be in the class. (First come, First serve). The dates are: November 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13. The test will be given on November 14. No class can be skipped. Eight hours of class is mandatory before you can take the test. This will be given in room 720 (New Gym classroom). The time will be from 7:00AM- 8:00AM. A notebook and pen are needed. A sign up sheet is in the front office.
