All students at Westview Middle School have the opportunity to participate in the Accelerated Reading Program.  Students earn points in the program according to the point value of the book.  Students must take a computerized test to earn the point value of the book.
 
At the end of each nine weeks students receive an incentive prize according to the points they have earned.  At the end of the school year students are invited to an Accelerated Reading Auction.  Students must earn 15 points to be invited to the auction.
