ALIVE At 25:
Greenwood School District 50 participates in the South Carolina National Safety Council’s Alive at 25 program. The purpose of the program is to help educate young drivers on safe driving practices, responsible behavior in various driving situations, and awareness of typical driving hazards.
Student drivers at Greenwood High School will be required to take the course before receiving a parking permit. The cost of the course is $35 and will last 4 1/2 hours. Students must go online at www.scaliveat25.org to register for the class prior to attending the course. Law enforcement officers will visit Greenwood High School to teach the Alive at 25 program. Students are required to take the class one time during their four years of high school.
