5/5/06 Kay Beggs, who teaches business
technology applications at the Russell Career Center,
has been named the Greenwood School District 50 Teacher of the Year for
2006-2007. Ms. Beggs
was selected by independent judges from the sixteen school-level teachers of
the the year.
Erin Whitaker, who teaches
third grade at Lakeview
Elementary School, has been selected the First-Year Teacher of the Year
for Greenwood School District 50. Ms.
Whitaker was selected from a group of thirteen first-year teachers who
demonstrated exceptional teaching skills during the 2005-2006 school year. |
