IEP-Required Transportation

1. Get a list of special education students whose IEP’s require transportation. That list should come from the special education office.
   
   
2. Log into SASIxp normally.
   
   
3. Open the SC Extra briefcase on your SASIxp desktop (or wherever you put your SC supplemental atoms).
   
   
4. If you don’t see the SC Transportation atom (a blue-dot atom), go to the following link for instructions on installing it: http://www.gwd50.org/SASI-Web/SASI-SCSupplAtoms.htm.
   
   
5. Open the SC Transportation atom and locate a student whose IEP requires transportation.
   
   
6. In that student record, click to go to Page 2.
   
   
7. Find the field labeled TransIEP (5^th row down from the top).
   
   
8. Click the arrow in that field and choose “Yes.”
   
   
9. Repeat steps 5-8 for all such students.
