For students who were activated during the conversion process, it
is important that they are NOT deactivated – that is, they should not be
“withdrawn.” Instead, those students
should be marked as “no shows.”
The reason for using “no show” is simple: As with Osiris, withdrawn students are
counted “active” on the day they are withdrawn; no-show students are not
active on the day they are flagged no-show.
If you withdraw students who don’t show for school, those students
will actually be counted as enrolled and present for the date of the
withdrawal. We are still getting additional clarification about deactivating students who were activated during the conversion process (with 8/3/00 enrollment date). We will add this information and email you a notification as soon as we have more to share. |
