SASIxp School Management System
In the conversion from Osiris to SASIxp, the State Department of Education has developed a standard set of discipline codes – for “infractions” and “actions.” The codes are designed to give districts flexibility in defining the discipline codes they need to use while providing standard codes needed to automate reporting to the State – especially for the required “School Crime Incident Report for South Carolina Public Schools.”
The State codes are given with gaps of 10 between its codes so schools and districts can insert others that fit under the given category.
Codes between 001 and 149 are available for school/district use. These will be used for items that cannot be classified otherwise.
Codes 150 through 499 include the most common/generic discipline codes and will include most of those that we use now.
Codes 500 through 780 will be used to categorize those discipline issues that are to be reported for the school crime report. Items placed in the gaps between the State codes will be reported for the crime report along with those in the State list.

will appear to be cryptic. Boldface
indicates State codes; all others are conversions of our previous Osiris
codes.
