ACTS Applications are due February 10, 2012. The ACTS application will be available for downloading at the Greenwood School District 50 website, under the Schools of Choice tab the week of December 12, 2011. If you do not have the resources to download the application, please contact Suzanne Rudd at 864-941-5652 and she will mail you the application packet.
The application process includes a student interview with program staff. The student's interview will be conducted during school hours at the elementary school the student attends.
Informational parent meetings are open to all parents, regardless of your child’s zoned school.

Applicants should bring to the interview an example of their talents(s) in a portfolio or DVD/CD.Tangible portfolios should contain no more that fives examples of the student’s work.If a student’s portfolio is submitted via a jump drive the jump drive cannot contain any other documents, only the student’s portfolio.DVD/CDs must be compatible with Windows Media Player or Cyber Link Power DVD and should be no longer than three minutes.VHS or any other tape formats are not acceptable.Portfolios will not be viewed if not submitted in the correct formats. Due to time constraints electronic or digital portfolios are not reviewed during the student interview.They are reviewed by the interview team at a later date.All portfolios are returned to students.
ACTS offers a challenging academic curriculum and provides opportunities in fine arts. Students selected for ACTS will attend the magnet program for all academic and fine arts classes.
