This is my 17th year of teaching with Greenwood School District 50. My experience includes teaching fifth grade for 9 years.  I have been teaching Gifted and Talented since 2005. 

I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Lander University in 1993.  I received my National Board  Certification in 2002.  I, then, completed my Master's Degree from University of Phoenix  in 2004.  While obtaining my Masters + 30, I completed coursework to be able to teach the Gifted and Talented.         
 
I love my job and hope to challenge your child and encourage them to be a "Thinker."  I also enjoy tutoring children in the afternoons. 
 
I have two sons.  One is a senior at Greenwood High School and the other is a freshman at Emerald High School.
