Classroom Rules
We will work to be our best every single day! We are proud to be a PBIS school. Our classroom rules are as follows:
1. Work quietly.
2. Follow directions.
3. Work and play safely.
4. Respect others' property.
5. Keep hands and feet to self.
6. Listen to others.
It feels great to follow classroom rules. If Mrs. Adams sees you going above and beyond following our classroom rules, you will move up on our clip chart. You will also earn a pride paw as well as other special rewards.

Classroom
We use a clip chart to monitor our choices in the classroom. The clip chart is divided into seven colored sections and each day students will start out on the middle color, green... "Ready to Learn". Good choices will enable students to move up the clip chart and poor choices will cause them to move down. Parents, you can click here to view an explanation of how the clip chart works. Good choices mean students get to move up on the clip chart! If students make it to the pink section they get to add a
jewel
to their clip and take a happy note home! When a student earns 5 jewels, they can exchange their clip for a silver one!! Once they have earned 5 jewels on this clip, they can exchange it for a gold clip! Once they earn 5 jewels to their gold clip they become Queen or King of the Jungle and their clips are placed in a special place in the classroom. I can't wait to see our chart sparkle with outstanding behavior!
If students move to the orange section of our clip chart, the consequences will be the teacher's choice (recess, time out, removal from activity, etc.). If a student makes it to the red section he/she will fill out a reflection form for mom or dad to sign. They will also lose recess time. Sometimes I might send home a Minor Infraction form for parents to sign. In extreme cases, I may refer students to Mrs. Buchanan.
