All induction contract teachers
will participate in an induction evaluation process in accordance with state
law and SC Board of Education regulations.
All annual and provisional contract (usually second year) teachers will
participate in the Greenwood LEAD (Leadership through Evaluation, Assistance
and Development) summative evaluation process and will complete a professional
growth plan. All continuing contract
teachers (usually third year and beyond) will participate at least once every
three years in a formative goals-based evaluation process or a summative
evaluation process (LEAD). The building
principal will decide on the appropriate evaluation process for continuing
contract teachers based on each teacher's past performance.
