Some of our talented and amazing students presented some of the great things they are learning to our District 50 school board over lunch in September. How technology is being integrated and used in our classrooms was a highlight, as well as our Honor's Chorus and Strings performances.
School Board Member, Ken Cobb, visited Springfield on Friday, January 30th. Students shared some of the awesome things they were doing in their classrooms from using Skype to creating projects using iPads. Thank you Mr. Cobb for your hard work for Greenwood District 50!
Congratulations to Ms. Shannon Joseph for being selected as the 2014-2015 Piedmont Reading Teacher of the Year! We are so proud of you!
Teachers from Springfield took a road trip to Oakland Elementary in Boiling Springs to see Project Based Learning (PBL) in action! It was exciting to see students researching, creating, and making global connections. Be sure to ask your child about his or her PBL activities here at Springfield!
